Govt summons Infosys CEO to explain glitches in I-T e-filing portal
The Ministry of Finance has brought Salil Parekh, the MD and CEO of Infosys, over misfires in the new Income Tax e-documenting entryway.
Parekh has been approached to show up on Monday (August 23) to disclose to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman why the errors on the gateway have not been settled at this point.
"Service of Finance has gathered Salil Parekh, MD and CEO @Infosys on 23/08/2021 to disclose to hon'ble FM concerning why even after 2.5 months since dispatch of new e-recording entryway, misfires in the gateway have not been settled.
